Premier Pack Dog Training Contract.

Here are some points that I would like you to be aware of and agree to.

Dog breed traits differ as do individual dogs, so results will vary.

Feeding: Dogs may refuse to eat in a new environment, although it will be available and offered to them regularly and used in training. So, the owner agrees to the feeding protocol the trainer deems necessary. The owner understands that this is possible to result in weight loss. The owner also agrees to reimbursement of food bought if more food than supplied is necessary. Owner will be notified if it is deemed that too much time has gone without eating.

House/Potty Training: Trainer has discretion to cease boarding a dog that has excessive problems going to bathroom in the house. In such a case a potty training consult would be available at no charge and alternative accommodations such as in-home training would be an option to continue the training.

In the case of injury, owner will not hold trainer liable. In the case of loss or death, compensation shall not exceed the cost of training or $1000 whichever is greater.

Veterinary Care: If dog needs veterinary care, Premier Pack has the approval to take the dog to a Veterinarian for appropriate treatment without owner’s prior approval in an emergency. Prior approval will be sought if possible. Any veterinarian expense will be either paid for or reimbursed by the owner immediately, within 24 hours.

Tools and methods: Owner approves and trusts Premier Pack, LLC to use the tools and methods deemed necessary to achieve the appropriate results.

Training Authority: The trainer will be the owner’s source of information and counsel. It is counter-productive and inefficient for the owner to question the trainer’s counsel by referring to the unlimited amount of conflicting information available regarding dog training.

Travel: It will be necessary to take the dog in the car to various places. Premier Pack will not be held responsible for injury to the dog in the vehicle.

Video/Social Media: Owners give permission to use their dog and themselves in photo and video for records and Social Media, advertising, and Website content, or any reason. Any photo or video will be property of Premier Pack.

Owner’s Responsibility: A dog’s training cannot be successful without the continued work by the owner. So, the owner will agree to cooperate with continued training protocol as given by the trainer.

Owner agrees to disclose to Trainer by the time of possession any allergies, injuries, or other health or medical concerns. Owner also waives any liability to Trainer for any injury the dog may incur or impose on itself while in Trainer’s possession.

Repossession: Owner will take possession of the dog at the end of the program. If owner demands their dog returned ahead of time this will alter expectations and will void future support. If owner denies repossession of the dog, it is to the discretion of Trainer to decide future arrangements for the dog, including surrendering the dog to a shelter. If owner cannot be available at arranged date for repossession Premier Pack may offer continued boarding at $150 a day.

Follow up: A follow up visit is included and recommended in three to six weeks after the dog returns home. It is the owner’s responsibility to contact trainer to arrange the visit.

Continued support: Phone, text, Zoom, and email support is included for one year after the dog is returned home.

Updates will not be given daily. There can be a call or text to check in on the dog once a week. There will also be occasional posts on Facebook and Instagram.
